Doolin is centrally located on the Burren Way marked Trail. The Burren Way always captivates its visitors in that it involves a hike along the spectacular Cliffs of Moher with views to the Aran Islands. The trail is dotted with archaeological remains and many of the Burrens rare flora can be seen on route. Doolin makes an ideal base for walking enthusiasts. Owned and run by Niall & Deirdre O'Dwyer, Doolin Lodge is situated in the heart of Doolin between Roadford and Fisherstreet. For the visitor a trip to this village has always been a must due to its central location for those who wish to enjoy some genuine Irishness. The Capital of Irish Traditional music, Doolin, can also boast proximity to the magnificent Cliffs of Moher and the famous Burren region. Doolin also acts as a gateway to the mystical Aran Islands which lie 8 miles westwards.
